Issues: Constitution

There was no United States of America until the US Constitution was ratified. Therefore The Constitution cannot be separated from the Country. The Constitution is The United States and the Flag is the symbol.

Those of us who are Christians understand the meaning of our Religious Trilogy: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit - three in one.

We also have an American Trilogy: Country, Constitution and Flag - three in one. They cannot be separated. One part cannot be desecrated without desecrating the other two. It is not possible to ignore the Constitution or burn the flag and still love this Country, because they are the Country. Three in one.

All Members of Congress take the following oath:I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. (Emphasis is mine)

It is impossible for any Member of Congress to defend and bear allegiance to the Constitution while passing laws, or authorizing actions in areas where powers "were not delegated to The United States by the Constitution".

Historically we have only asked candidates their positions on issues. What good are issues if we lose our Country? Instead of concentrating on issues this next election, we need to insist that our candidates commit to honor and follow our Constitution.

We need to elect only 218 people to the House of Representatives who will commit to honor their oath, which they freely made so help them God, to defend and bear allegiance to the Constitution, and we can save our Country.

My plan is to find those 218 Democrats or Republicans who will pass a "House Rule" that states every piece of legislation introduced in the House must include a reference to where in The Constitution Congress was given the power to legislate on the matter.
